I just got through looking for a larger SSD for it because I know 8GB isn't going to be enough in the long run. Only 2 companies carry them; one is out of stock & the other charges over $16 to ship something smaller than half a candy bar.

Did you see this one:
http://dealmac.com/OCZ-2-5-64-GB-Serial-...66751.html I am almost positive that won't work DewGuy, that is a SATA interface, the Mini9 is a PCI interface.
It is at least Not SATA.
Please, correct me if I am wrong!!
**EDIT** I wasn't wrong!!
"Mini PCI Express PCI-e"

I don't have any knowledge of the Mini other than what I've read in this thread, but remembered seeing the above SSD listed earlier today. Sorry it won't work for you.

I don't care, it just won't work on the Dell Mini 9 as you recommended for.

SSD is a serious dell breaker for me! Did you look at others that come with magnetic hard drives?

You missed the iPod touch. It's a tiny palmtop. $229.

Yeah, right. A gee-whiz gadget with no keyboard or ports can really be compared to a laptop.
