I sold a MacBook last week on Craigslist & got several offers for more than I was asking if I'd ship it, even though I clearly stated that it was a local sale only.
I told a friend about this & he thought I was insane for not accepting more than I was asking. I explained that that type of offer was ALWAYS a scam but he refused to believe it. "But how do you know?" I almost look forward to the day when he gets ripped off selling to one of these con artists.
