Brita filter: clogged already?
#11
I just went through 2 bad Brita watcher pitchers filters....soaked as required but when installed only a tiny trickle of water going through.....2 in a row. I am attempting the third one now. There are no sediments in the water, etc. I think a bad batch has been released. I am going to try and call them tomorrow. This is very frustrating!

Called Brita and they disavow any defective filters. They say you have to shake the filter or squeeze at the sides while running under the faucet to remove any air pockets. I will try that on my fourth filter (returned the other three to the store) if it doesn't flow right. According to them it isn't supposed to flow freely (huh?). I suggest that they post their "remedies" online.
