I guess you don't mind carrying something as large as a typical power strip with you on an airplane. In my case, not a chance. I'm a believer in traveling as light as possible preferably with just a small rolling bag and a backpack whenever possible and a powerstrip - even a small one - would be _way_ too big to stow in either bag. 'course, if I had a powerstrip with me, I'd definitely ask someone to share the outlet with it. I just wouldn't have one with me since it's impractical.
