Pray tell.

I'm at the polling place now, about to go in. You've actually been very helpful. I know what I'm going to do.
Thank you.

I knew who I would vote for if it was either R or D but I really wanted to go with a 3rd Party candidate. For reasons stated above, though, I realized this was not the time to make my stand, so to speak.

As I said to someone else...

"As long as we're confined to this two party system, I'll bend to the rules, I guess. I did, however, allow myself to vote 3rd Party for the House of Representatives. I'm hoping that will lay the groundwork for future Presidential Elections. ha ha"

you're in a swing state. your vote actually matters. decide, dammit. a vote for a 3rd party candidate will tilt the tide Democratic because Romney needs every vote. think about what you've (hopefully) read about Obama and what a country with him at the helm 4 more years. you have a choice for whom to vote but only two options as to who will win.
To be fair and balanced, I just want to say that I didn't vote in 2000 because I didn't really think there was a difference. I'm not in a swing state. But if I had been in, say, Florida in 2000 I'd have wished I had voted for one of the potential winners. Definitely not for Nader.
