Go educate the majority and try again.

Or you could try and ban gerrymandering congressional districts.
A politician in a voting district that is truly competitive is highly unlikely to vote for any sort of gun bill.
Really?

That poll is totally worthless.

Show me a poll that breaks it down by voting district.

If that's corruption, then I'm all for it. The legislation this past year has been magnificently magnificent.

If you don't like it, go talk to your Democratic Party operatives. What happened is quite probably a recognition of what CAN be done as opposed to what your party's people THINK should be done.

Politics is the art of the possible (Duke Otto von Bismarck). A total ban is not politically possible in the US at this time.

What you CAN do is continue a grass roots 'conversion' process. Additudinal changes require generations to take effect.

Or you can declare Martial Law, make Obama the Emperor, execute the Supreme Court and Congress, and start issuing Executive Orders.

Why should we talk to the Democrats? Most of them are being sensible. It's the Republican members in thrall to the NRA who need a talking-to.

Without a doubt you're all for it. You only see what suits you. You have no interest in the interests of others.

Much like the politicians of Maryland.
