anyone actually sell or buy from ebay motors?

Just have good pics, be honest about the description, and have the description be as complete as possible. Try and answer any questions you would ask when buying a used car from someone face to face.

Use your ad as a filter. If people are asking stupid questions that are obviously answered by either the pictures, the description, or both, pass on them as a potential buyer. Don't even respond back is my advice.

I had a few idiots asking the most basic questions when I posted my cars on craigslist, and if they didn't pass my stupid filter, I wouldn't even respond. All three sold to the first people who actually came out and viewed the cars, and all were happy with the price. Slightly different than an eBay sale, but much of this does apply.

Well here in the UK I bought my current 'fun' car, the Maserati, on eBay. Previously I bought three Alfa Romeos which were also sold later on eBay and also a Ford Fiesta. Absolutely no problems.

Oh and previous to the wonders of eBay we went through five Peugeot 505 stationwagons (we call them estates over here) and loved them. Actually had two at one time, his and hers. They did exactly what we wanted of them and the diesel version gave us 45mpg, pretty good for an older diesel in a fair sized car.
