Looking to buy one or two devices to extend my wireless network (FiOS modem). The locations that I would put said devices have gigabit ethernet run to them. So, I want adapters that are wired and plug in via a cable (not directly into an outlet. Would love to find one that I can mount outside as well. Any recommendations?

It either needs to be corded or powered by PoE.
What is this part supposed to clarify? is there another viable option?

The AP that was suggested in the prior post is intended to plug directly into a wall receptacle, so I suppose they want one that has a longer cord, or, PoE.
Extension cord? Just going to amazon and hitting "poe wireless extender" will prob find a bunch.
My wireless FiOS ATT router seems to go pretty dang far? If I walk out my front door, cross the street... still have a signal... maybe 75 feet? 100 ft+ radiaus.
Have you tried yours?
