#21
I think I saw the model 3 has had the heat pump since 2021, fwiw.

The only significant functional changes to be looking for would be related to the FSD hardware. Everything else should be functionally the same...unless Elon pulls a Steve Jobs style 'oh, there is one more thing...'. If that happens, all bets are off.

Musk says FSD on new cars will be poorer (initially) than current FSD.

The move to FSD HW4 is pretty much complete already. The new Model Y I recently purchased includes HW4.

I think the software stack is still optimized for HW3, which means FSD performance for now is not as good on HW4....but they are changing that (rewriting the software for HW4).

How is the FSD? We have a 2020 Model Y, and FSD really does poorly in Minnesota.

It’s still not great. The hope is that HW4 will lay the foundation for the software to take a great leap forward, though.
