battlestar galactica, i missed something
#21
Y'know, not to trip up the thread in yet another direction, but I always thought STARGATE (speaking of the original movie) would have made a great Indiana Jones movie... "INDIANA JONES AND THE GATEWAY TO HEAVEN" or something like that. It would seem to fit.

[quote PeterB]bazookaman, it's not necessarily that they don't know the identity of the final five, but that they don't discuss it (Six's dialogue to Baltar).
Yeah, but Lucy Lawless's reaction to the hooded cylon was one of "Oh! its YOU!" Indicating she had no idea who it was. But i still think it would have to be someone they did something bad to. I can't think of anyone except one of the MAIN main characters.

bazookaman, yes, I agree that it's likely that it's pointing in the direction of Starbuck (D'Anna's comment referring to them mistreating her and removing her ovaries). I just think that would be a dumb@ss move on the writers' part, for lots of reasons. Also, it's not as if D'Anna's series had all that much contact with Starbuck -- her comment would have made far more sense had it been coming from Six or the one who played the "doctor" while they were experimenting on her. Also, there's the issue of what the heck Leoben was doing with her on New Caprica -- even if he did not know she was one of the final five, he had to have some idea that she wasn't human. Instead, his behavior toward her is exactly opposite-- he behaves toward her precisely that she IS human.

Of all the possibilities, the only one I think I could deal with is Dualla. She claims to be Sagittaron but does not follow their ways. She also did not verify receipt of the jump coordinates to the Olympic Carrier in the episode "33" which resulted in the deaths of ~1500 humans. D'Anna had contact with Dualla in the episode "Final Cut" when she was interviewed. Dualla has been the girlfriend of the President's personal assistant (Billy) and the Admiral's son and CAG (Apollo). She could also be possibly implicated in Billy's death (okay, far fetched). She tried to talk Apollo out of going to help the Admiral in the liberation of New Caprica in episode "Exodus Part 2". She looked pissed off at the end of the episode when the Pegasus showed up to save Galactica and didn't like his tactic of taking Pegasus into the center of the fight which resulted in the destruction of 3 Base Stars. She seemingly talked Apollo out of joining in on the rescue of the remaining humans.

OMFG!!! She IS a frakking Cylon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
