Yeah - at this rate, to get to 11 million…err…30…umm… 34 million, he’ll need…(calculating)…

…257 years. That, of course, assumes there are no more people overstaying their visa, which is a common - perhaps the most common - means of “illegal” immigration. (It’s really more of a “grey area”, says Elmo.)

If not, it’ll take…well, until roughly the heat death of the universe to rid ourselves of this vile disaster of immigrants.

At some point he'll quell dissension by declaring Martial law. Since there's not been too much of that, he'll just drum it up. People need to be careful. Right now, he's getting what he wants by and large. If the GOP falters in the mid-terms, we can't put it past him. It can get really bad.

if the 2026 election is good for the Dems.

They will have to get to work on that.

Unless I learn otherwise, it'd be a straight Dem ticket for me.

But how many others – enough to overturn the current regime?

I don't think so, Tim.

Stay alive and away from ICE, so you can still vote. Don't be lured into thinking your passport or green card is a life vest. The wrong thoughts, tattoos, skin color, or address can get you deported.

I am waiting for a notice of the retroactive disqualification of my birthright citizenship.

I am considering burning my genealogy research because of the weaknesses I've uncovered.

1) My Poylische great-grandfather's naturalization papers show his name/signature spelled three distinct ways on the same document. Bing! he will be retroactively denaturalized for lying on his application. Since women automatically took on their husband's citizenship status at that time, my great grandmother will also be toast. Therefore their son, my grandfather will not have had legitimate birthright citizenship.

2) My Galitzianer great-grandfather was once arrested for "adulterating milk" (he sold skim milk, calling it whole milk). His wife's citizenship also followed his. So, their son, my other grandfather, will also be judged out of luck with his birthright citizenship..

3) I haven't looked closely yet, but I'm sure there must be flaws in the papers of my Litvak and Yekke lines too. That will account for my two grandmothers.

Since my grandparents will all be shown to have been lacking in citizenship, so will my parents. After all, none of them registered as alien residents or obtained other documentation required of non-citizens in the US. They didn't believe they needed them. But ignorance will not absolve them for failing to follow the law.

But maybe I'm being silly. I will probably be deported for being a registered Democrat.

Best to fix that now before it is too late. You don’t want to change it later when they are likely to take you into custody as you attempt to change your registration.

You can be a registered Republican and still vote for sanity. So far.
