Warning: Do not run DiskWarrior or similar utilities on Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
#11
Why would ANYONE assume that a third party app would support a new OS before it's even been released?

Moreover; why would anyone rush into installing 10.5.0 without a couple GOOD safety net backups?

It's a Point Zero release, after all, and I don't trust the first release version of much of anything!

Paul nailed it as far as I'm concerned.

There should be no whining whatsoever by anyone who does not have a bootable backup of Tiger if the Leopard installation goes bad.

I'll be upgrading to Leopard as soon as I receive it. (It's pre-ordered.)

Of course, I'll be using CCC to make a complete image of my machine before I do that.

See? MAVIC understands....

I will probably try it in a couple months. Not becuase I dont' want to play with it, but because I got bills to pay first.
And yeah, I'm gonna have a couple different backups before I do the install.

So Paul F, you place fiscal responsibility before discretionary spending? How un-American. Why do you hate America Paul?

I like my bank account better, is all Big Grin

My discretionary spending has been going to other things.. (like car payments for a couple 19 year old college girls that put out..... at least, it WOULD BE if any 19 year old college girls would answer my ad...).
