iPhone USB weirdness

OK, here's a weird one...

I just discovered that on my home machine (Quicksilver 1Ghz dual), I can't import photos from the iPhone via USB2 -- at least not by iPhoto ... it sees the pics, but stalls at the beginning of the import. USB1.1, on the other hand, works fine. (My USB2 is via a Sonnet Trio card.) Conversely, USB1.1 doesn't work for syncing -- gives timeout errors, only USB2 works for that. I'm guessing this is something with the Trio card, but am not sure...

I think you're right--I see similar strangeness here with an IOGear USB 2 card.

Any other devices on the USB card? Another USB perif may be the problem.

wickedsteve, actually no... at least, not on the USB card. Lots of USB stuff on the 1.1 chain, though.
