Are you bargaining with retailers?

common sense -- of course some small 1 store shop will haggle -- especially if they sell speciality items

Which is why I sometimes look forward to places that expect haggling.

If they ask for it, they'll get it. Since it's the game they want to play, I'll play it, and be an A** about it.

As for regular retailers - if they have a price match policy, I've got no problem asking them to do that.

Will they do it for Apple stuff?

Maybe not for 15%, but they'll almost certainly take a few bucks off if you're persistent. I got them to take $20 off an open-box iBook once just for asking.

Heck, I've never paid full price for even a bagel. The rest of you are suckers!

I tried to get Amazon to price match last week, which is kind of like haggling. I bought from them at $187. Then their price had dropped to $174 and a competitor had it for $160, all free shipping. They said no. They'd rather have me return it and order a new one, even from a competitor.

I'm still stuck on denial.
