I realize it's a bit of apples vs oranges, but these are tonight's choices if you would indulge me.
Which movie to watch?

Garden State is okay. I've never been bored enough to try and watch the Vice movie.

If I HAD to choose one I would pick Garden State. I didn't much like it, but it was a sh!t ton better than Miami Vice.

I'm surprised that "The Last Templar" with Mira Sorvino, Victor Garber, Scott Foley and Omar Sharif wasn't mentioned.
Sunday and Monday at 9 PM on NBC.

I was disappointed by Garden State, I guess because I had such high hopes for it. I would rather watch The Squid and The Whale or Lost in Translation if I want to get depressed during an indie film.
As for Miami Vice, I'd go with the Wii golf instead. Or just about anything. It sounds like a drag.

I grew up in Jersey, and I really hated 'Garden State', or rather was indifferent toward it.
So I voted for 'Vice' by default, and because Mike Mann's worst movies are always gonna be better than Zach Braff's best.

Garden State was a waste of time.
Don't know the other one.

I ended up watching Garden State. I actually enjoyed it. Not exactly an uplifting movie, but I thought it was well done. Props to Graff for writing and directing in addition to starring in it.

If you want a good Michael Mann movie, try Collateral.
