long distance help
#1
My mother-in-law has just purchased a new 20" iMac to replace a lamp iMac. She wants to use migration asst. to move over stuff and I'm trying to help her [she's in NC and I'm in IN.] I'm trying to find a firewire 400 to firewire 800 cord for her and I found this at Monoprice but it doesn't look right to me.

What should she get?

You want the 9-Pin to 6-Pin flavor

You can also do Migration my Ethernet now--have to load it into the older machine.

Just did it on a MacBook so it should be available even for Firewire machines.
