Seems a good bit of the country is getting the Atlanta heat wave of this summer. It is the humidity that makes it so much worse. Atlanta has been having Louisiana type humidity...pea soup thick.

Right now, it's 97F at noon and I promised Little Poochie I'd take him camping today. I hope he plays the Wii at home for a few more hours.

From the story:

At least 10 people were hospitalized in Jersey City with heat-related illnesses. In Belleville, the fire department rescued an air conditioner repairman last evening who passed out on the roof of the State Fair Building on Main Street, police said. The 22-year-old worker, suffering from heat exhaustion, managed to call 911 before fainting at around 6 p.m.
