i don't think it teaches children the horrors of drug and spousal abuse if you brush it under the rug.
i'm not a Whitney hater, but i do dislike what Bobby Brown did to her.

Disrespectful behavior towards a recently deceased person who struggled with substance abuse isn't a good way to teach children about the horrors of substance abuse.
Drub abuse is a terrible disease, and it wants to kill you. Sometimes it wins.
Whitney's cause of death is not yet known, so it's speculation anyway. It's possible that she gave up her battle by committing suicide.
No person dealing with substance abuse will be helped by the trashing of Whitney Houston, and no child will be dissuaded from using drugs by seeing these hateful remarks.
People have to know that there is help, and hope. But not everybody will win. Sometimes the drugs win.

Are you teaching your children here at the forum now. . . ?
Sorry decay but I do not see the need to dredge up stuff like this now from her past. Are you trying to teach us like your children . . . ?
You are beating a dead mule, everyone here that has posted knows how and why she has died.
We know about her history it is clearly why she has died. It is something many of us regret
seeing happen.
I think is is ok to let her rest in peace without disparaging her.
I agree Bobby Brown was a liability in her life and a despicable human being.

300M people in the USA and only 5000 wrote ugly posts on Fox's forum? OMG
I knew this topic would bring some people out. They just can't help themselves. They can't fight it.
Help me what? You didn't expect there would be those kinds of comments? Wouldn't you expect them on Fox? My question is why is this thread worth posting?
I lIked Whitney Houston. She rendered one of the best versions of the National Anthem (Tampa Super Bowl) I've ever heard.

I admire her talent. I don't care for him either but then she was an adult. She
chose to be with him.

You guys are just wasting your time.
And the State of New Jersey is talking of flying flags at half-mast for Whitney.
Personally speaking, I don't care. She had a great voice and was a good talent, but she screwed it all up. Got hooked on drugs and spiraled downward to her ultimate demise. Do I need to give her more than the once pretty girl in the inner city who got caught up in drugs, worked the streets and also died because of the addiction?
I've worked with addicts. I've seen how they live. I've seen where they live. It's not pretty. I'm glad I never fell into that trap. I don't wish it on anyone. But I won't laud anyone who's demise stemmed from that lifestyle - especially celebrities with millions of dollars to blow.
