First, they should cut up the Paterno statue with welding torches and leave the pieces for the metal thieves.

Then, they should dig up Paterno's corpse and burn it in a dumpster. But not before they execute Sandusky and throw his fat, greasy carcass in there too, and make his wife watch.

Then they should divest Penn State of every last cent of value the football program represents, and distribute it among Sandusky's victims.

I agree that it's sickening. I hope the personal responsibility laws change as a result. Let me tell you that when there are teeth in failure to report laws, people fall all over themselves to report.

Seems to me the administration at Penn State did almost exactly what the administration of the Catholic Church did only on an infinitely smaller scale.

@BorowitzReport: People should stop saying Penn State football is a religion, since that brings to mind unfortunate similarities.

Hey Uncle, I'm going out on a limb here and guessing that you are a just a tad bit upset about this. I would have thought you were mad but you didn't call for Happy Valley to be renamed the Gates of Hell or the city of Sandusky, Ohio to be leveled for a parking lot just because of the name.

i have read that prison is not kind to pedophiles. execution is too light for Sandusky. he should be sentenced to life without parole, kept on suicide watch so he can't off himself, and put in with the general prison population.

Yeah. Sentencing people to torture and rape. That's a good way to respond to ANYONE EVER.

Agree with ya 99% of the time, graylocks. You've lost your humanity on this one.

My last comment was over the line. You haven't lost your humanity, graylocks - that was sloppy language, and i meant no disrespect. On re-reading, it doesn't say what i meant.

It's important to hold our impulses in abeyance, even (perhaps especially) when dealing with those who have committed atrocious acts. It is what makes us different.
