We have an Oster-not sure what model it is but it's stainless and is a convection type. We use it a lot as it's just us two but we have no complaints.

I third the Breville recommendation. Pricey, but head and shoulders above the rest. In some states you cn use the bed bath and beyond 20% off coupon on it. In others it is excluded.

so this must be a BREVILLation to those wanting to buy a toaster oven......???

+1 on convection oven rather than just toaster oven
I have a Oster micro/convection combo and although it is ss inside and out, easy to clean the menu is horribly complicated and unintuitive. I'd get a separate convection oven with simple knobs if I had the counter space.

So it's settled counter sized convection oven. We do have a 20% BnB discount coupon. We'll start shopping this Sunday and compare prices. Thank you everyone.
