That's awful news. I was watching Stripes just last night. Brilliant, brilliant guy, and a very nice one as well by all accounts.

RIP Harold.
For me, Harold Ramis and Frank Oz are the 2 most under-appreciated yet important comedic talents of the last 40 years. I always look for them in movies and in the credits as they seem to be involved in many of the best comedic projects out there. Coincidentally both born in 1944. We'll miss you Harold.

Beyond all of his amazing movie work (writing, acting and directing), his work on SCTV was also hilarious. Anyone remember the "Grapes of Wrath" sendup, I think Harold played "Muley." Man, SCTV used to make me laugh so hard...
