I really would LOVE an old wagon like we had.

swivel bucket like my 442 had
floor headlight dimmer switch
front window vent (triangle pivoting window)
off the top my my head.

Yeah those electric clamshell tailgates on the GMs were cool. My Buick touring wagon also had that, and the 455. That baby purred once I had replaced all that needed it...except the valve seals. She leaked/burned oil like an old well. I read somewhere that a lot of these wagons burned up from electrical fires...I can see how they could start! Man it was super smooth but kind of a boat, steering had a ton of play. I don't miss that part.
A few years after my tour I sold mine to a restorer...but his wife had other plans for him. He then sold it to a derbyist and that was the end of that '76 Buick Estate wagon. "Deuce and a quarter" I was told by a guy at an East St. Louis gas station marveling at it.
