not my brightest moment: forgot to pay a speeding ticket
#11
My truck got a ticket as it was delivering a load of composted manure from the Los Angeles City "free compost" station. The truck made a left turn and crossed the Metro-Link tracks just as the light went on. It is up to the County Sherriffs office to handle this and since it was not me as the driver in the blurred photo, it is up to them to follow up as to who was driving. I was up north and the truck just did it on it's own. I think the fine was over $350 and worth filling out the paperwork online. It's the first ticket the truck has gotten and the manure was enjoyed by all at an unknown garden club. The truck informed me yesterday that it needed a new battery. I'm working on a deal.
They waived the fine.

You probably already have had a warrant issued. Good luck.

No it isn't. (Really, why would it be open Saturday? Duh) Maybe my eyesight truly is that bad.

Maybe those contacts don't last as long as you thought they did. Tongue

She was so sweet and helpful on the phone. Skipping the court date merely reset the date (to what I don't know) and yes, I could simply mail those nice folks a money order or Cashier's Cheque -- she gets them all the time!
