looks like someone modified a click clack storage jar

the bottom chamber could contain a desiccant.

the four prong thing holder stops the displayed round object from blocking the hole to the bottom chamber.





edit: a round flat shelf on top of that 4 prong holder/spacer and quite a few things could be displayed/kept dry in that jar.
wouldn't have to be a round or egg shaped object

I like the desiccant in the base idea, but it would make a pretty unflattering display jar.
