Viewing angle or panel type would be helpful. Couldn't find it on the Amazon site. Even so, thanks for the link!

It's a TN panel according to Acer. Still not bad for a basic monitor, but unfortunately won't suit my purpose. I need viewing angles to be wider. Thanks again.

For $90, wouldnt expect much in the way of quality... seems like there have been some pretty decent ones in the $120 range recently.

For $90, I wouldn't expect much of a monitor. It was $150.
But if someone didn't need a bunch of features and the *reliability* was decent, it's probably not a bad buy. Sometimes bare bones is plenty serviceable.

Why does almost everyone stop at 1080 vert rez these days? I know its HD, but why not go bigger?
