"All Apps" Adobe Creative Cloud almost up. What are you paying for CC?

Do you know what is the difference between purchasing the EDU Adobe CC from www.academicsuperstore and purchasing it straight from Adobe?

The Adobe site EDU promo is $240 for the first year, then auto renews at $360 for the second year and beyond.

www.academicsuperstore price is $200 for the first year only? Or auto renews at a constant $200?

My experience with Creative Cloud has been that it auto-renews with no option to let it expire on it's own. It's a bit slimy of them to do so, because it auto-renews at a higher (non-promo) price and if you cancel there's a big penalty.

Like the dreadful cable company, their Indian call centers are compensated on the basis of retention. You have the power. Tell them to cancel. Get a better deal.

You are allowed to have creative cloud installed and activated on two computers. Maybe you can split it with someone else. Lower the pain. Personally, i pay full price because of my job but when i went away for a few months i deactivated my subscription. Saved the money. My 2 cents.
