There's something about the holidays and weighted blankets. I remember last year these were popular during the holidays as well, they were all over the Black Friday ads. I returned TWO for store credit. Bed Bath Beyond, and Kohl's.

The only way to get a decent blanket is to get a weighted blanket?
For the CA 'winters' I really want a warm blanket.
I've looked around, apparently not enough, and can't find a decent heavy blanket, something that will hold warmth.
I don't like comforters because they don't stay in place.
So I have three lightweight blankets layered when on or two at the most should be sufficient.
Even then they don't seem to hold heat.
Maybe a wool blanket is the way to go.
What's maintenance like for those?
What about laundering a weighted blanket?
That sounds like a bad idea.

I like the opposite of a weighted blanket. I sleep best with a light weight but warm down comforter without any sort of duvet cover.
