I bought 2 EGO tools last summer, a Trimmer and a Chainsaw. Both tools came with identical chargers and 2.5 and 5.0 Ah batteries.
It turns out the 5.0A battery died, it no longer takes a charge. I tried both chargers, no luck. I think it only had one cycle. Luckily I still had the receipt in the box.
I called EGO customer service, instead of waiting I decided to take a call back. In about 5 min a lady called me, asked me to register, I was able to send a photo of the receipt right back and the lady got in within a minute, and ordered a replacement.
All in all, creating the account, registering both tools, both chargers, both batteries, and ordering the replacement took about 15 min.
100% American based customer service, 100% satisfaction, no hesitation to continue to buy their products.
