Is this to keep a windows laptop from going to password protected screensaver? If so, PM me. There is a much simpler way to bypass windows security - no hacking required.

If you want just ANY old key pressed, at any old speed, just get a child's toy that has any piston-like action, and an ac-to-dc transformer to power it. You should be able to get the offset, and depth adjusted, with some duct tape, zipties, and epoxy, you'll be all set to go.

jdc, that was the first thing I thought of too. I remember that device being used in the Simpsons episode when Homer went on disability because he was fat. His work at home job was to press one button repeatedly and even that became too much to handle. He got that chicken.
