I need a pre-paid cell phone plan for South Korea

Don't they still have 14-day quarantine for international arrivals? Maybe not or doesn't apply in your case.

Last time I went there (pre-COVID) I just rented one at the airport. [Edited to note that I rented a SIM card at airport.] Returned by mail on day of departure. Don't know if such shops are open at this time, but you could ask that kind of question on some South Korea focussed travel forums. For example, here are some good active ones.

Have a good flight!

I have used T-Mobile in multiple different countries. Text and lower speed data is included in the plan, you can buy a package for higher speed data - just did that in Israel in August.

Works great.

We get a quarantine waiver. They test us before the flight, after we land, and we cannot stay more than 7-8 days. Otherwise we have to do the 14 day quarantine, indeed.

Interesting. My wife desperately wants to get to Korea to see a friend who is not doing well because of cancer. We are in Japan and she is Japanese, so rules might be different. But will check this out.
