I already have a MBP. But I support hundreds of users, many of which need to use two monitors for web browsing and spreadsheets and absolutely do not need the power of a MBP just because they want 2 monitors. With supporting hundreds of users we are NOT going to implement some third party thing that may or may not work or cause issues. Our users don't support themselves and we do not have the bandwidth to deal with problems that arise outside of the norm.
:agree:

Mind you I don't understand why some of these folks want two 1080p monitors instead of a single 4K monitor, and I've seen this at many orgs where esp since the pandemic there hasn't been specific hardware recommendations made to users and they're buying all kinds of random stuff. Apparently Samsung monitors need drivers installed to work at all?

That's going to be a very popular machine.

It is probably my next portable Mac.

Once refurbs are available, of course.

Does it run 2 monitors or just one?

Using DisplayLink, can easily run 2 external monitors.

But it seems to be the same basic model as the M2 MBA 13, which means only one external monitor natively supported.
Zero interest in DisplayLink. It isn't native, and doesn't "just work".
HDMI isn't "native" either.

The HDMI port may not be "included" but it is "native" to Thunderbolt 3/4. https://www.thunderbolttechnology.net/te...0and%20VGA.
