Its not about race at all. It's simply about what is legal and not. My father came here from another country legally. He didnt sneak in, and he didnt abuse the system. He worked his ass off from the time he was 16 to raise enough cash to bring his parents and siblings to America legally. They didnt stow away on a boat-they came in legally as well. His entire family came here, learned English (he didnt expect signs to be in his language or that people would cater to his ethnicity), paid his taxes, and utilized the government systems available to him legally. Why should we give things to people who don't follow our rules? What message does that send. I dont have a problem with people of different races or ethnicity coming into our country, but I do have a problem when they they do it illegaly and start stealing from our government and from our tax dollars. If "Manny Mexican" wants to come to this country for more opportunity and a better life, thats great, more power to him-he just better do it the right way.
