To push my own agenda? Jez Louise...I simply asked a question to get an answer. Is that pushing one's own agenda? It was a legit question just like asking who makes xyz. People on the board kept putting the name out and I didn't connect.

Yes. You started a new thread to call more attention to "pete", and the fact that he seemed to be an irritant for people who you don't agree with politically. You were trying to fan the flames of controversy and hoping to make the more left leaning users look bad in the process.
Your style is now consistently being described as "hit and run" by others. You don't value this side of the board as a place to discuss and learn, but only to try to irritate those who don't agree with you politically. You've proclaimed that you don't read any of the threads here when called on it.
