I was reading the shrink-wrap, and they are actually labeled Imation under manufacturer and address.
TDK disks on the top surface, with TDK shrink-wrap, but the area where the manufacturer and country of origin say Imation and give Imations corp. address.
Never seen this before. maybe I should get the Sony ones on sale at Costco this month, and return these in-store.
I know some manufacturers farm stuff out, or buy lots and market the disks themselves, but this is weird.
Imation was good in the late 90s and early this century. They were actually TY back when they were just CD-Rs. Nowadays, I'm not so sure.
At Imation isn't listed as a suplier to TDK. I wonder if this is any way related to why Costco switched to Sony as their main digital media media supplier instead of TDK.
I suppose I could crack a spindle open and check the disk ID with dvdmediainspector.
