Another Strike Against The Patriot Act

I could not agree more with what Mac-A-Matic said above. Many, many Dems have been complicit in all of this crap the past 8 years. I'm certainly not giving them a pass, bunch of asshats that they are. Pelosi and Reid largely disgust me. Hopefully we'll see the unconstitutional portions of the Patriot Act repealed and soon.

The unconstitutional portions are the entire USA Patriot Act.

The Bush Administration was practicing just about everything in the Patriot Act before it went to the floor of Congress. That is what I said above, and it is true. Google "John Yoo" and "David Addington" and you will see what I mean. They are the ones who designed the warrantless wiretapping, they are the ones who authorized torture of prisoners in American custody. Just about the only organization that stood up to Addington and Yoo was the American Library Association. The librarians were braver than the FBI, NSA, CIA and the rest of the alphabet soup combined.
