Vuze. Much better that Transmission, and light-years better than BitTorrent.
And yeah, 60 at a time just might be too much...

used to use Azureus.
once it changed to Vuze & they added extra non-torrent nonsense, i jumped to Transmission & never looked back. i don't usually have more than 10 going at a time. just seeded two Red Lorry Yellow Lorry live audio concerts on DaD last night.

Transmission was causing the internet access for all the computers on my network (including the one running it) to slow to a crawl.
Now I use Vuse.

60 torrents! I used Transmission the other night to get Cold Case,
because some stupid football game ran over an hour long and they ran 60 Minutes and something called Three Rivers then the local news and then they talked for a half a frickin' hour about a football game that had been decided who the hell won the darn thing 3 hours earlier. I emailed the local CBS broadcaster and asked them if they were going to delay broadcast Cold Case but I haven't heard a darn thing from them. If someone wants to crucify me for doing that so be it. Sorry but I like "Cold Case"! |
