Didn't Data Rescue used to have an explicit warning that it could not recover trashed files in OSX once the trash had been emptied?

In a situation of data loss from the Mac hard disk, Kernel for Macintosh data recovery software for Mac data completely recovers all the lost data. The software can also recover data from the memory cards, ipods, external drives, etc, that is, any device which can be recognized as drive letters.

Spoken like a one-post spammer who knows nothing about Macs...

Co-worker just deleted a folder of production files (moved to trash and emptied trash [don't ask]. She immediately realized her mistake and hasn't done anything on that machine (27" iMac 10.6.8) for fear that deleted files may be overwritten. There is no back-up [don't get me started]. Drivesavers is around the corner and quoted $900-$2000 based on description of events. She's leaving for Europe this evening so time is of the essence...
Any downloadable software solutions that people have had success with? Disk Drill?
Thank you thank you thank you!

Its good that she stopped using the system further to avoid the files being over-written. I think data recovery software can recover the accidentally deleted files. You should run a demo on your system first to check the working of the software.
