Are you going to drop dropbox now that Condoleezza Rice is on the board?

Condi is VERY intelligent.

Would it be a different story if it was Dubya?

I never signed up for DropBox but now I'm definitely not going to. Course, I'm not signed up for any other cloud file options... waiting until someone makes a better "home personal cloud" allowing me to interconnect my devices with my server where-ever I decide to put it (home, office, colo facility...)

Sometimes boycotting is like standing in a warm pile of horse-shit and proclaiming your correctness.

Did we actually "call for" the Mozilla CEO to be dismissed or did we merely agree with his departure? I may be picking nits, but I don't recall asking for his head although I went on record as supporting it after it happened.

As for Dropbox, they don't get any money from me and are probably unaware of my existence. So, just as I didnt stop using Firefox, I won't stop using Dropbox. Money talks but I have no money in either concern, nor have I ever recruited friends to use them, so there's nothing to be achieved by a "boycott", at least in the way I use them, since nothing from nothing equals nothing.

Many here called for the dismissal of the Mozilla CEO because he donated to a very unsavory cause... how 'bout this? Evil henchwoman joins dropbox... do you make a stand... or just keep using it?

Me? I'm gonna keep using it without a thought of Condoleezza Rice.

Big difference between being on the board -- lending your name and cachet to the endeavor -- and running the whole company.

Did you ditch Apple products when Al Gore joined the board?

You seem to be agreeing with me in an antagonistic manner...

Sorry. I wasn't "you-ing" you specifically.

I was "you-ing" to the general audience.

Yes, I was agreeing with you.

Does DropBox have a long and storied history of promoting inclusiveness, tolerance, and protesting against discrimination, as Mozilla does? If so, i've never heard of it.

What about securing customers data from the prying eyes of the NSA's unlawful searches? The very same NSA that Condi had no problem with when National Security Advisor.

I can't figure out why anyone would want Rice on their board of directors. (The same goes for Al Gore as well.)
