Any reason not to upgrade from ios 9.1 to 9.2?
#1
Frankly, I'm getting tired of constantly dismissing the upgrade reminder and of seeing that red badge reminder in the Settings. But I'd be even more annoyed if 9.2 created problems. I'm inclined to just go for it, unless there are strong reasons not to. Any problems folks are experiencing with 9.2?

Funny you mention that. I attributed my jump from 8.xx to 9.1 as the reason for my non-licensed lightning cables not working. I was about to toss them out when I tried them in my wife's iPhone 6 and they worked. After some further research (thank you, google), I discovered the real culprit: pocket lint! See the 2nd answer here. That may not be the answer in your case, but it worked for me, and I now have several working non-licensed lightning cables again. Let's hope they still work after I go to 9.2.

I'll have to try the repair - only I'll use a wooden toothpick to pull out any lint than a piece of metal...

S-T-F-U! it is a perfectly normal question, it is better to ask, to avoid any surprises, since in iOS you can't go back.

I am so looking forward to the day when you (and people like you) will regret updating your iOS or OS X. I can't wait. That day can't come soon enough.

(Sorry if this seems harsh, but I am tired of responses like these any time someone asks about iOS or OS X updates.)

Actually, iOS 9 has resulted in better performance with each newer version, albeit with some devices more than others.
