She's a cop that has mass incarcerated thousands and thousands of Black men and boys, tosses Black parents in jail and has slept her way to the top in addition to not being Black herself. Tons of other stuff too. That's the scuttlebutt. She has a bad character. It's important for all of the presidential candidates to be white anyway.

California is supposed to be a progressive state and in many ways it is but not politically. We have two of the least representative or progressive US Senators imaginable.
Maybe the Harris presidential debacle will bring someone forward who can oust her, nothing but death or retirement will oust Feinstein.

We have Senators that know how to get things done, not some dreamer that's satisfied with just wagging his finger in the air and never never ever ever passing meaningful legislation. Aside from a single bill that he co-wrote with McCain.
That's the sum total of that finger wagger's political yield. "I led the fight." Not by passing bills.

Someone once said that "Good is the enemy of Excellence". Neither of those two are even good. If you settle for less than optimum, you surrender to mediocrity. If mediocrity is your goal, you can quit campaigning - we're already there.

Based on this, identifiable excellence would have to figure in somewhere. I challenge anyone to point it out.
