Go check 'em out. One opened in my former city just as I was moving. The closest one to me now is about 15 minutes too far out of my way to make a detour. One of their big loss-leaders is milk...they're probably $0.75/gallon cheaper than the CVS/Walgreens around here, which are typically cheaper than the supermarkets.
If you're used to shopping at SuperTarget, an entire Aldi store is probably half of the square footage of a SuperTarget's grocery department.
If their store is close to you, and you like their house brands or occasional specials, nothing wrong with them.
