It's hard for me to justify a new Intel tower for $$$$$ and what with the current state of the economy. This G5 has been running 24/7 since March of 2005 with a minimum amount of problems. It cranks on Photoshop files most days without complaint. I've been doing some slide scanning of late and with 100 large PS files open it starts to slow a bit. A few dollars for RAM is much easier to justify than thousands for a Intel Mac.
