They're no different than hundreds of sci-fi & monster B-movies from the 50s, which we now treasure even if they were never very good. I don't know if SyFys stuff will endure, but there's room in the world for that kind of schlock. They're sure more entertaining than big-budget, A-grade crap like Transformers and GI Joe.
