I quit by using the patch, but then the patch started making my arm break out in rashes and making me have heart palpitations and chest pains. I tried using Commit lozenges, but they contain aspartame, which I'm sensitive to. I tried using nicotine gum, but it gave me a sore throat. I couldn't go back to smoking, because I lost both my parents to cancer (they were also heavy smokers), as well as two of my grandparents and several aunts and uncles. But I was going crazy! Enter Swedish Snus. I feel like myself again and it doesn't cause cancer. Don't buy the American brands of Snus, though, because they won't tell you what's in it.
