Just helping out someone from a local NJ forum I frequent, feel free to reply to my address and I will forward, or don't, it's all okay....
Monster
I'm between jobs at the moment. If you need a software engineer / electronic engineer / computer generalist please drop me a line.
I've programmed in a range of environments and debugged / tested systems ranging from really far out encryption systems to a tiny microcontroller based box for a Kiwi TV game show (Young farmer of the year).
Here's the obligatory list of abbreviations and acronyms.
Languages:
-- Pretty much any Algol family derivative (C, Pascal, Algol 68 anyone)?
-- Scripting and productivity languages ( Perl, Batch, Awk, Make )
-- OOP since formal training in Eiffel in '89.
-- Java since it was version 0.9, including interfacing to things like TTCN-3
-- Embedded C since 89
-- Prolog - I enjoy the declarative thing.
-- Forth - RPN is fun.
-- APL, J, New S - More fun.
-- Assembler - x86, ARM, MSP430, 8051, 6502, 6800, 6809, FR30, SPARC, MIPS, 8080
-- UNIX - SunOS 4.1.3, SGI IRIX 5, Solaris 8, SCO System V
-- Linux since Yggadrisl plug and play Linux bootable CD (Linux kernel version 0.9 or 1.0 I think).
-- MS Windows Since Version 3.0, OS/2 V 1.3, 2.0, 3.0, DOS, OS65D, NT, Netware
-- Network / LAN cabling, servers and infrastructure since we used to use 10 base 5 (cheapernet).
If you have a weird architecture or old dusty deck code (HP3000, VAX, Wang VS, PICK) that you can't find anyone who's willing to dig into please drop me a private line .
I especially like lighting up old systems.
Cheers,
Tarp
