Agreed. Many people only have 802.1g routers anyway, so no need to pick up the drastically more expensive N capable adapter.
For those wanting a more universal or faster 802.11n solution, look for an Ethernet Bridge (aka Game Adapter) or a cheap router that can be set to Bridge mode. $50-$100, works with anything with an Ethernet port.
