I have 3 ReplayTV units, all attached to DirecTV satellite receivers via Patterson Technology's USB TV Translators (http://www.patersontech.com/) and S-Video cables. Works fantastic, with the channels automatically being changed by the ReplayTVs. Not quite HD, but a whole lot sharper than analog (more like DVD quality).

Very glad to hear I might get a few more years out of them!
