Hi everyone,
Now that Disk Utility supports non-destructive repartitioning, how many of you have actually tried it? And, if you have, was it successful? Personally, I'd be very leery. I was never fond of the idea and would be very concerned about the integrity of my data. I'd run Drive Genius and/or Disk Utility permissions and disk verification and repair runs as well as perform a complete backup prior to repartitioning a drive. That's just me, though.

worked fine for me, the drive was new, only Lion on it (and the hidden recovery partiotion). When I resize the default partition to make space for a new one (for SL), it also moved the Lion recovery partition. It seemed to work fine. I didn't know Disk Utilty can do live partitioning since I jumped from 10.5 to 10.7, I think it occured in 10.6
