Adding OS9 along with OS X on flat panel iMac?
#2
h linamen- do you know if the hard drive was formatted to include the OS 9 drivers? If not, I believe you will need to reformat the drive using Disk Utility and making sure to checkmark the box to include OS 9 disc drivers. No you do not need a separate partition for OS 9. Many (most) of your classic (OS 9) titles may run fine under classic, which means you would not need to reboot into OS 9. Many classic apps will automatically open into Classic when you start them. A few may need to be told to open in the Classic Environment (click on app> get info>checkmark open in Classic Environment). Good Luck!
