Guess you don't get that it was not a campaign stump and was a commander-in-chief speech to thank the troops. It was not supposed to be a pep rally. Go look at the ordinary speeches past presidents have given at military installations that were part of the job of the commander-in-chief.
I didn't say it was a campaign stop so quit putting words in my mouth. You missed the story. The troops gave him the cold shoulder. It was very obvious they we ordered to be there, stand respectfully, and listen. They were not disrespectful, but they sure withheld their "love"
